All cars prior to Silver Shadow II & T2 (1977) were fitted with choke solenoid RD8574, which included a Bakelite cover.
From 1977 on UD21161 the solenoid did not include the cover.
UD21161 is suitable for all earlier models but please be aware it does not include the cover and the cover cannot be fitted to it.
