This is a reconditioned original Lucas Starter Motor.

Please be aware that Left Hand Drive cars from 1968 to 1973 (approx) were fitted with a different starter motor. If your car falls in this VIN range please call us or be sure to put your VIN/Chassis in when ordering online as we do have both ready on the shelf.  The relevant chassis numbers are as follows:
Standard Cars: 4448-4548, 5086-5603, 6425-8861, 9001-14847 except 14815
Coachbuilt Cars: 5070-5141, 6450-8694, 9040-14995 except 14780, 14831, 14885 LWB Cars: 6599-8697, 9067-14896

When returning core, please insure with shipper and pack with care as this also will determine if, core is in rebuild-able condition and the core charge is refunded.
