This is a 1/4" locktab with a number of applications:
1. You will need 18 of these if rebuilding a MkVI or R Type engine
2. 3 are required on a Silver Cloud I and S1 for the front thrust plate for the camshaft and 6 for the blanking plugs on the crankshaft.
3. On the V8 engine models there are 2 of these locktabs for the the two bolts that hold the distributor drive gear to the rear of the camshaft.
4. On an S1/ Silver Cloud I crankshaft there are 6 locktabs for the blanking bolts.
5. On the Silver Spur III & Sliver Spirit III camshaft, tappets, engine oil pedestal, distribution valves & brake actuation mechanism.
6. On the Mulsanne 10 are needed in the engine, 2 oil pick-up and dipstick & 2 on the cars that are fitted with the ABS system.
7. On the Shadow II 2 in the engine / oil dipstick.
8. On the Silver Shadow master cylinder / distribution valves 1.
9. On the Silver Spirit & Sliver Spur there are 1 each needed in the engine dipstick & brake actuation / distribution valves.
10. On the Silver Wraith II there are 1 in the engine dipstick
