This is the Grommet that covers the Rocker Stud.  RPI recommends replacing these grommets when replacing the rocker cover gasket. Note:  6 per car (sold each)  1959 - 1997 All V8 Models 

Valve Cover Gasket / Rocker Cover Gasket From 1998 year models had rubber valve cover gaskets.   Can be retro-fitted to earlier models as long as 3 new valve cover grommets / isolators (07V109151PB) per head and 3 new distance pieces...

All cars from 1959 through 1997 were originally fitted with these cork rocker cover gaskets.  From 1998 all V8 engine models were fitted with rubber gaskets (UV11305PAP) which can be retro-fitted to all earlier models as long as new isolators...

This is the original style triangle paper gasket. It is fitted to the end of the cylinder head.  Note: 2 Per Car (Sold Each)  RPI offers the plastic style see part number UE75131 / 07V103771. The part number has been superseded several times...
